Tony Smith and Hortus infinitus have been involved with a diverse range of interesting projects, exploring a variety of concepts.
Tony was first approached by curator, Chloe Tinsley, to exhibit his art at TESTBED1, SW11 4NP, part of the Chelsea Fringe Festival, in May 2013.
In October 2013, Tony exhibited as part of Seeking Slow, organised by OAN, at TESTBED 1, Battersea.
In February 2014, Tony was invited to take part in an exhibition called Synthesis, alongside artists including John Humphreys and Boy George, at Trinity Buoy Wharf, London.
In March 2014, Tony exhibited as part of Material World, no barking aRt biennale Part 1, Truman Brewery, Gallery 25, London.
This was followed in April 2014 by Part II at the Espacio Gallery, London.
In November 2015, Tony exhibited as part of educating picasso, no barking aRt, at the Espacio Gallery, London.
We humans have a need to find meaning and reason in the chaos of the universe. Art is just one of the cul-de-sacs that this search for meaning leads us down.
